Simona Bulwinkle: Big mistake if you have a co signer, even your girlfriend. You break up and she can take the car you paid for. Be smart and go get your license before you purchase any car and find out first if you can afford the auto insurance and car payment and rent and food. Do a budget to see that you can pay all of this if you are on your own without anyone helping pay bills. From experience, I learned this.

Idell Mulliniks: I'm an insurance agent and I work in Ohio. You can! buy a car without a license but they won't let you drive it o! ff of the lot unless you can prove you've got insurance. Sorry honey, get a policy. Plus, it's illegal to drive without it in the state of Ohio.
