Rosio Pasculli: The highway system was designed for moving the military, not moving citizens out of harm.Health care is a service and nothing more. Promoting the welfare does not mean mandating we all buy insurance, what a load of crap that is.
Ollie Desalvo: There is one reason and one reason only for socialized healthcare. If you need it, it will be there. You're just upset because you feel like your money is being spent unwisely on a federal program you disagree with, and say that it's somehow against our national status-quo. But, at the same time you support a large standing military, something our founding fathers warned against and disagreed with. We spend so much money on a military we don't need because we're not at war with any nations, we are in conflicts with terrorists but not in any sort of a war. We don't need a huge standing army anymore, the Cold War is over and we're still spending Cold War money. However, 60 percent of bankruptcies are caused by m! edical reasons. Many people avoid hospitals and care altogether because they fear the cost. Health care is that life part of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Just because you're unhappy with how it's going and who's pushing it through doesn't mean you should sh*t on the lives of your fellow man. Maybe you should oppose other wasteful spending....Show more
Lauri Ohl: Nothing. This is all about power and control. Peace
