89 camaro throttle body cleaning?

Anibal Scheid: What throttle body on what motor? Do you have a TBI engine and you're cleaning the actual throttle body unit or do you have a TPI motor and you're cleaning the throttle body on that? There's a big difference when talking about "throttle bodies"

Sherita Gallati: You remove the rubber hose to the throttle body to gain access.Take a can of carb cleaner and spray on a clean shop towel or old cotton rag.Open the throttle body and clean with the rag soaked with carb cleaner.NEVER spray carb cleaner into the throttle body.After the bore and throttle plate are clean of all the oily junk and clutter reinstall the hose and your done.Best of luck.
