Is it hard to start up my own garden maintenance business ?

Lanita Reichman: It will be an easy business to get going. I just started a flooring business and I was pretty overwhelmed in the beginning, but it is easy. I would suggest trying it out first, maybe just find some cash jobs. If you start getting a lot of clientele then set it up as a real business. Craigslist is a great tool for advertising. If you are in a smaller area that does not have craigslist, I would print up some flyers and place them all over the neighborhood. You are never wasting time if it is something you enjoy and you make money at it....Show more

Joesph Smithmyer: you do not want an accountant at present yet while the corporate does nicely i'd get one, or talk to whoever your Dad makes use of. Ask your Dad's suggestion re e book-keeping and so on. Public criminal accountability insurance isn't a criminal requirement even with the incontrovertible fact that it somewhat could be. do not even evaluate working without it or you have one somewhat small m! ishap and lose each and every little thing! seek for a physically powerful commercial vehicle coverage and look into insuring your kit in case you does not have the means to easily discover the money for new ones in the event that they have been given stolen....Show more

Ronnie Sardi: no. it won't be hard at all. so go ahead and start your business.

Lissette Semon: It's not wasting your time if you are considering doing landscaping for a business when you are older. Good experience to see if you really like it.The hard part will be getting the tools, establishing how much to charge so you are making enuf money to make it worth your effort, finding helpers you will have to pay, and liability if you or any of your people get injured on the job. And the economic condition in your area. Are many people willing and able to spend money on a gardener when they can do it themselves.Your best course of action might be to work for an already established lawn/garden com! pany in your area this summer and see how they do it, what the! y charge, etc., before jumping into your own business....Show more
